The context

OFFZONE builds custom solutions for industry, healthcare and services. Data is at the core of every product: production dashboards, performance indicators, regulatory reporting. The Data Engineer structures this flow.

The mission

You will design and develop data collection, transformation and storage pipelines. You will work closely with backend developers and business teams to deliver reliable, actionable data.

Your responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Model data schemas for analytics and reporting
  • Optimize MongoDB query and aggregation performance
  • Set up data quality monitoring tools
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify data needs
  • Document data architectures and flows
Tech environment
  • Python

Required skills
  • Experience designing data pipelines
  • Proficiency with Python for data processing
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB (aggregation, indexing, performance)
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Ability to structure data for reporting and BI
Profile we're looking for
  • 2 to 5 years of data engineering or data-oriented backend development experience
  • Rigorous about data quality and consistency
  • Able to explain data challenges to business teams
  • Autonomous and results-oriented
Nice to have
  • Experience with BI tools (Metabase, Grafana)
  • Knowledge of Redis or caching systems
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures
  • Machine learning or data science knowledge
